XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX VA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX To whom it may concern ; I am writing to request a goodwill adjustment to my payment history in regard to the payment that was made on XX/XX/XXXX. Said payment was reversed by Honda Financial because the account that was used marked Closed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I added a new payment account, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account # XXXX, Routing Number XXXX to my Honda Financial Profile. After adding the new payment account, I then went to payment option screen to make payment using the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX information. I entered {$500.00} and hit submit. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was notified by email that my payment was reversed because of the account that was used was Closed. I was quite puzzled because I would have never made a payment using a closed account. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and asked if my account was in good standing. The representative told me my account was indeed and good standing. On Monday, XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with a gentleman with Honda Financial who informed me that the account that was used to make the XX/XX/XXXX was a XXXX account that was in my profile. I told him I would have never used that account because that account is never used. I told him that was a mistake and I asked if there could be anything done in regard to my payment history and not to be reported late the three credit bureaus. I have leased two vehicles with Honda since XXXX and I have almost perfect payment history and I am loyal Honda customer. I am requesting a goodwill gesture from Honda Financial to grant me an adjustment to payment history to reflect no late payments or delinquency to the credit bureaus.
