On XX/XX/2021 I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX counselors at law indicating that they were attempting to collect a debt. I sent them a response to dispute the debt and requested information to validate the debt. They failed to provide me with pertinent information and the information is false and misleading. As it is my understanding that an Attorney can not serve in the capacity of a debt collector. There is no evidence of signature or a copy of my identification proving that it was in fact me that initiated this loan. There is no ledger of the account and general ledger statement showing the full accounting of the alleged obligation they are attempting to collect from me, signed and sworn by the person responsible for maintaining these records and having first-hand knowledge as to their accuracy and authenticity. There is also no signature wet ink or electronic signature on the Disclosure and consent to electronic receipt of loan disclosures and electronic contracting e-sign Consent or the credit profile authorization One of the documents gives the principal amount at charge off. Which indicates that this loan has been charged off. However, this statement and several others do not have any identifying information connecting me to such obligation. Now I am receiving solicitations from attorneys indicating they would like to represent me in the lawsuit that was filed against me by VelocityXXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX This is causing me undue stress and sleepless nights!
