I had a hospital stay in XXXX and setup payment arrangements for multiple bills with the medical provider. One bill was missed and went to collections but a payment plan was established with the previous creditor. In XXXX they stopped taking the payment but didn't contact me to setup the payment plan again. Late in XXXX I received a letter from paragon saying I owed them for XXXX from the hospital stay> I called the prior creditor who confirmed they sold the debt without notice. Paragon accepted one payment from me and never sent another statement. I tried to login on their self service site but it says my account number is incorrect. Paragon should remove the delinquent reporting and allow a payment plan to be established to suffice this debt. Account info I was provided : Paragon XXXX XXXX It is absolutely ridiculous to hurt someone's credit when they made every attempt to repay the debt. This company 's practices should be reviewed further.
