Consumer Narrative

My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX and under the penalty of perjury I attest that all facts to be stated are true. Predatory credit reporting agency Equifax refuses to follow my written instruction for the permissible purpose of the credit report and FILE that this company is furnishing on me which violates 15 USC 1681b ( 2 ) which states " In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. '' I have submitted written instructions to Equifax on a number of occasions over the last year and this company refuses to abide by federal law and remove the fraudulent and inaccurate personal information, accounts and inquiries which stemmed from identity theft. I have reported this identity theft and misuse of my information by all the major credit reporting agencies including XXXX, equifax, XXXX, and XXXX as well as all the issuers of the fraudulent reported accounts. Equifax has also failed on a number of occasions to share with me how they have been able to validate these alleged debts that they are reporting on my credit file. What personal interviews did they conduct? What system did they use to validate the debt? Did they submit a form or use electronic means? What was the name and contact information of the people they spoke with to validate the debt? This is fraud and totally violates the fair credit reporting act. The fraudulent inquiries that appear on my account are a clear display of how equifax is violating my consumer rights by selling and sharing my personal information and credit file with third parties that I did not initiate or authorize. Can equifax explain why these companies were able to access my credit file without my prior consent? This is a blatant act of identity theft which is punishable by law both civilly and criminally. Furthermore the FCRA was created for the purpose of enforcing credit reporting agencies to report accurate and fair information and equifax is doing the complete opposite. I have attached a 3 credit bureau report which clearly shows that experian, equifax, and transuion are all reporting different, inaccurate, and fraudulent information on all 3 credit files pertaining to the same consumer, accounts, and inquiries. This is illegal! This is theft! This is punishable by law and will be pursued in a court of law if these accounts, incorrect personal information, and inquiries are not removed upon the receipt of this complaint. Please see all attached documents to support my complaint. I have faxed this information to equifax but have yet to receive a response. Please find attached : 1. Letter sent to equifax 2. proof of identification XXXX. US Dept of Justice complaint XXXX. Federal Trade Commission Identity theft complaint XXXX copy of XXXX bureau credit report displaying inaccurate reporting of information by all XXXX major credit bureaus
