This complaint is in reference to an email that I received on XX/XX/2021 stating that my credit card account will be terminated if a payment is not made. I must first start off by saying that is fraudulent. Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1602 ( j ), this card is supposed to be an open-end consumer credit plan, which leads to the billing errors ( see attachment labeled EXHIBIT B ) Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1666 ( b ) ( 1 ). This is false and misleading ( 15 U.S. Code 1692e ( 2 ) ( A ) ) being that the balance is reflecting in a positive amount ( see EXHIBIT A ) when in FACT it should reflect in a negative amount. The statement also states that there is a payment due, how can a payment be due in an open-end consumer credit plan? This constitutes as unauthorized use pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1602 ( p ), if I use my card and have to pay it off, it serves me no benefit which means you are misusing my actual credit card ( SSN ). Again, that is false and misleading. I am a consumer and owe no allege debt. Also, pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1637 ( a ) ( 1-3 ), you are required to give disclosures as to how your rates are calculated and not just a number. According to the statement labeled EXHIBIT A, there is an APR associated with my, Self visa card. This means that there is a finance charge associated with the card, which means a security deposit was fraud because pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1605 ( a ), The finance charge does not include charges of a type payable in a comparable cash transaction.
