XX/XX/2022, I have disputed a bankruptcy with XXXX XXXX reporting agencies XXXX, Experian and XXXX. They are reporting an inaccurate bankruptcy in my public records. So I did some investigating and contacted XXXX. XXXX sent me a letter stating the XXXX XXXX reporting agencies reported the address XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX back to XXXX when I disputed this bankruptcy. I ( HIGHLIGHTED ) the sentence of the ATTACHED document. THIS ADDRESS IS NOT ON MY CONSUMER CREDIT REPORT. I also called the three credit agencies and recorded the call. I asked the agents if this address was on my report and the agents said, NO. I REQUEST A REINVESTIGATION. Refer your investigation to the document XXXX sent me as evidence that the address is inaccurate and the bankruptcy must be removed. This clearly is a violation of the FCRA 15 U.S code 1681s-2- Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies ( a ) Duty of furnishers of information to provide accurate information ( 1 ) Prohibition ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. ( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate.
