I use the Credit Karma app on my iphone because I am trying to rebuild my credit. one of their suggestions/promotions is to apply for a personal loan and they have several to choose from. I saw one and only one that I started filling out the loan app where Credit Karma sent me. At some point, I reconsidered, ( didn't want more credit, want LESS ) so I changed my mind and left the site and got out of the CK app. Can't remember what day I did this but it was around XXXX XXXX, 2022. On Sunday, XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from XXXX XXXX ( Or XXXX XXXX-it 's very odd ) entitled " Credit Decision Notification ''. I was certainly surprised since I had NOT COMPLETED nor SUBMITTED the app. I contacted both Credit Karma and XXXX XXXX. I was told by XXXX XXXX that the Referral Source ( ie, Credit Karma ) sent my loan request to potential creditors and they were but one. They deny any responsibility for receiving the app and I agree. Credit Karma has not given me a straight answer to this question and I think it is one that all consumers who use their platform will be interested in knowing the answer : HOW DID MY UNCOMPLETED APPLICATION GET SUBMITTED WHEN I DID NOT DO IT??? Credit Karma gave me a case number on Monday after my first email but since then I have gotten nothing but what appear to be form letters. None of them answer me as if they really don't understand my question. My case number is XXXX. I have screenshots on Credit Karma that show I did not complete my search. If I can attach them here, I will. Again, I DID NOT complete the loan app and I did not submit it.
