Capital One is allowing a restaurant in XXXX, XXXX to charge me {$2700.00} USD for a transaction that was supposed to be in XXXX ( Pesos ), which would have roughly been {$130.00}. This restaurant ( XXXX XXXX ) also attempted to charge me {$4700.00} USD the same night. Additionally, XXXX XXXX attempted to charge my cousin over {$10000.00} USD on his credit cards and his company XXXX XXXX XXXX ) rightfully denied the charges. The restaurant does not have a signed receipt from me and never provided me an invoice or receipt. The restaurant in XXXX has many reviews stating they overcharge and double charge people. Capital One is refusing to address my concern and reimburse me the money that was fraudulently taken from me. Capital One is telling me I have to resolve the issue with the restaurant ( which is in a foreign country and has not responded to any of my attempts to contact them ). This is unacceptable that an American company is allowing a restaurant in a foreign company to steal thousands of dollars from an American citizen.
