XX/XX/2021 Experian XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX Dear Experian, I am writing to request that you review the following information that was entered on my consumer report. XXXX XXXX XXXX ending in XXXX I attempted to use this card on XX/XX/2021 at a local restaurant, the card was denied. When I logged into my account I found that there was an overdue balance outstanding that had not been paid. I contacted XXXX XXXX this morning and found out the problem was that XXXX had put me on paperless billing without my knowledge. I have had numerous financial accounts request paperless billing and have always refused because I was afraid this is exactly what would happen. When I realized the account was past due on XX/XX/2021 I immediately paid the balance in full. I explained this to XXXX this morning. The only problem is that I paid using my online banking which will make the payment on XX/XX/2021, however the due date is today. XXXX accepted responsibility for the mix-up, removed all late fees and assured me my credit score will not affected more than it has already. If you review all of my accounts due over several years my payment history has been excellent. My credit score has been excellent for quite some time now. The purpose of this letter is to ask that you adjust my score to where it would have been if the late payments had not occurred. I hope that my credit will not suffer because of actions taken by XXXX and not approved by me. Thank you for consideration in this matter. I have spoken to Experian twice but have not been able to review the results of my dispute.
