In XX/XX/XXXX, I provided XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with all of the information needed to have me removed from the VA mortgage, as it was fully assumed by my husband. The original balance was {$220000.00}. The monthly payment was {$1400.00}. Instead of removing my name from the loan, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX reported that I opened a new mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX with the amount of {$220000.00}. I spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on multiple occasions to let them know that instead of removing my name from the mortgage, they reported that I opened a new mortgage. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX stated that they reported to the 3 credit bureaus that the account was closed. They also stated that the did not report that a new mortgage was opened. I was told by XXXX XXXX XXXX that I needed to dispute this with all 3 credit bureaus. I disputed the information that a new mortgage was opened in XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX reported to the bureaus that the account was closed on XX/XX/XXXX. All of this information is incorrect. The account on my credit report shows XXXX XXXX XXXX with a number under the name stated as XXXX. This has reflected poorly on my credit report. It looks as if I opened a new mortgage with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX and then closed it in XX/XX/XXXX. They were only supposed to remove my name from the loan. Instead of that, they created a new account in XX/XX/XXXX and then closed it in XX/XX/XXXX. Please remove this fraudulent account from my credit report.
