Debt collection company : XXXX XXXX on behalf of Check n Go I have been receiving multiple texts and phone calls/voicemails regarding someone elses debt. At first I thought it was a scam because I am current on all my debts and have never used check n go ( which they claimed to be collecting on behalf of ). The text messages and voicemails threaten tax levies, garnishment of wages, etc I finally called them back and found that they were calling/texting regarding a debt they KNEW was NOT MINE. I believe this is a violation of their right to ONLY contact me ONCE. I also feel that their scare tactics of trying to make me believe that I was the one in danger of tax levy and garnishment rises to the level of harassment under the law. The collection agency is XXXX on behalf of Check-n-Go. I have deleted multiple texts and voice mails regarding this, as well as blocking numbers, but I still have records of the following contact attempts : XX/XX/XXXX voice mail stating they have been retained by check n go to file for judgment XX/XX/XXXX text message received stating garnishment and tax levy XX/XX/XXXX voice mail stating they are filing for garnishment and tax levy
