XX/XX/XXXX I canceled the credit card. I paid the balance in full, and canceled the card by calling the card company. I was told the card was canceled. In XX/XX/XXXX I was sent a statement that I owed XXXX. I called the credit card company back, and they said a charge was made for XXXX. I told them that's impossible, I canceled the card. The person I spoke to said I was correct. The card was canceled. She said an investigation would begin. In XX/XX/XXXX I called them again after noticing my credit score was being severely damaged because this credit card company was reporting my account delinquent. So my score has dropped. I told the credit card company this information, and they again said a dispute would be entered. Today, XX/XX/XXXX I just got another statement saying I now owe {$170.00} for an account I canceled in XX/XX/XXXX. And I was told it would be upt to 99 days until the XXXX. XXXX would be removed. But they are not removing interest and late fees on a freaking account that I nceled and did not authorize a charge to a closed account that is still being charged freaking fees.
