I received a notification of a reported address change from my identity theft service on XX/XX/XXXX, stating the Equifax had changed my current address to a residence in XXXX, XXXX XXXX. That address is for a home I sold in XXXX and have not lived at since. I currently live in XXXX, XXXX. I immediately filed an online dispute with Equifax on XX/XX/XXXX, and provided my renters insurance declarations page and my electric bill which showed my current address. The confirmation number with Equifax for that dispute is XXXX. I received a response back the same day from Equifax wherein they incorrectly confirmed I live in XXXX XXXX. I filed a second online dispute of the address Equifax shows as my current address on XX/XX/XXXX. The confirmation number with Equifax for the second dispute is XXXX. In that filing, I included copies of my XXXX driver 's license, my most recent electric bill for my XXXX apartment, the first page of the lease for my XXXX apartment, the registration certificate for my car in XXXX state, my auto insurance card foXXXX XXXX, and an email from Equifax promoting auto insurance in the state of Washington, wherein Equifax effectively confirmed that they know I live in XXXX. I received the results of my dispute from Equifax about nine hours later on XX/XX/XXXX, wherein they again confirmed I live in XXXX XXXX which is not correct.
