I have had multiple inquiries ran on XX/XX/XXXX from a car dealership called in XXXX XXXX XXXX California. The dealership has been reported to the FTC as well as a police report. The creditor of the vehicle says the social associated with the vehicle is not mine, yet my social was the one listed and used at the dealership to obtain the hard inquiries that qualified the said person XXXX XXXX XXXX for a loan. My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. It is believed that my husband with the same estranged name first and last applied for the loan using my social security number and Experian believes it is my account info when it is not. XXXX XXXX over the phone has refused to send me a letter that I am not responsible for the loan but stated it is not mine and that they can not send me proof of the mistake for the credit bureau. The detective in new jersey, XXXX is supposed to contact the dealer. The dealer who ran these inquiries in XXXX XXXX is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX The phone number where the seller who is believed to have ran my social in a transaction that isn't mine is XXXX XXXX XXXX. The vin number for the vehicle is XXXX The model and make of the vehicle is a XXXX XXXX XXXX I have tried to contact the credit bureaus and frozen my account, I need to know how the dealership obtained my social without consent and put that it is my vehicle on a credit report without ever speaking to me.. My accounts have been frozen and fraud and security breach has been reported. I still want to know how this occurred and how to correct it. I noticed my address was changed on experian to XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX which is a confirmed address of my estranged husband. I think he used my social security number at a dealership to falsely be approved for a car loan that he is already XXXX days late with and now is on my credit report as me. I suspect this to be fraud and I want to know who has my information in the breach of security and consumer rights. Please contact the dealership and myself.
