Had an account with XXXX XXXX for water delivery that I cancelled XX/XX/XXXX. I had filed for bankruptcy in XXXX and was approved. No mention of this debt was reported then. Now XX/XX/XXXX Collection Bureau of America has opened a collections on this same account. I have not received anything regarding what the {$550.00} is for, nor have I received any contact regarding this. All I get is continued notifications that my collections account balance has increased through my XXXX XXXX account. My collections account with CBoA is listed as open, for an account with a different company I closed 4 years prior. Why I would owe {$550.00} for the 2 jugs of water I used to get every 2 weeks is beyond me. I would at least like to know what it is for, why I have not been contacted, and how a balance on an account like this keeps going up and remains listed as open. CBoA should be able to provide an itemized list as to what the amount owed is for. It is not fair to ask someone to pay for something with nothing to show as to why. {$550.00} for water is already a red flag, that's ridiculous. If I owe an amount I want to pay it and have it settled, but let that amount be fair and itemized so I know why.
