I made a Gemini account in the beginning of XXXX. I initially put {$700.00} in. I made a profit of {$150.00} and decided to put it into crypto again. Around XX/XX/XXXX I bought more crypto ( {$700.00} worth ). My account was valued at {$1500.00} on a non market basis. First or second week of XXXX my account got frozen and deactivated with my money inside of it. I heard nothing from the support team for weeks. Last week they emailed me saying they determined it was an issue in my end and will reimburse themselves from my portfolio as necessary. What happened was, when I deposited more money ( the {$700.00} ) in my account, I selected the wrong savings account ( one with insufficient funds ). My bank stopped the transaction for that reason but Gemini did not. When the funds were no good, Gemini took my money and deactivated the account. I still have my original {$850.00} in the account that is completely mine. I have emailed the support team countless times to no response. Like I said it has nearly been a month.
