Consumer Narrative

A checking account was fraudulently opened with TD Bank without my authorization using my personal information. I called the bank and reported the fraud. They said they would investigate it and issue a letter to me about the account and close it. They have done neither, as i still get statements in the mail. I have written to them to advise of the fraud and asked them to close the account. I received a new bank statement as of the day i write this.
