I applied to Discover for a credit card and was denied. I had a Discover card in the past and never was late or misused the card. In fact Discover canceled the card do to inactivity. Now years later that I want to reapply for a credit card with them I am denied. The adverse letter that was sent in the mail states status of existing/ prior Discover card account. I called Discover to find out what this was about and the only answer that I got from the representative was that it just wasnt time for me to get a card. I didnt understand what that meant because my old account was in good standing.
