PenFed Credit Union did not submit documents to the lawyers office in NC in timely fashion in order to close on scheduled closing date of XX/XX/2021. As a result I had to ( 1 ) stay in a hotel along with son until XX/XX/2021 until documents were sent. ( 2 ) All my house furniture was already enroute to the house for delivery on XX/XX/2021 but closing had not occurred. Had to put all furniture in Public Storage in XXXX, NC garage style unit until closing occurred on XX/XX/2021. In XXXX had to pay for 2 trips to get furniture to residence in XXXX XXXX because it was changed to smaller truck once it left my former residence in XXXX XXXX, MD. I contacted the supervisor of the processor as well as my real estate agent did the same, with no results. I need to be reimbursed for hotel stays and furniture moving expenses from XXXX, NC twice.
