This is my XXXX complaint that I am filing against EQUIFAX. There were XXXX [ XXXX ] deleted inquiries from my EQUIFAX credit report after my disputes and now EQUIFAX is liable to compensate me with monetary remedy. By deleting the inquiries off my report, EQUIFAX is admitting that their practices are in fact abusive and deceptive. I used my power to speak up as a natural person for the abuse that was being done to me and in turn, EQUIFAX deleted the inquires after I disputed. Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1681a : -The term person means any individual, partnership, corporation, trust, estate, cooperative, association, government or governmental subdivision or agency, or other entity. -The term consumer means an individual. -The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer. Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1681o, EQUIFAX is liable to compensate me in the amount equal to the sum of damages done to me for the failure of compliance with the requirements under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I have been going at this case for over 100 days now and I will not stop until I get compensated as EQUIFAX is liable by law to pay my invoice. I will attach Exhibits to this complaint that prove the deletion of the inquiries following my dispute.
