XX/XX/2021 and XX/XX/2021. A person tried to apply for a credit card in my name at capitol one and also XXXX XXXX. I did not do this. I just turned XXXX. I do have an idea on who did it. I called the company and asked what can they do. They said nothin and to call the credit bureau. I called them and they said i have to pass an authentication factor to update my information. I have never made an account to have information to begin with which gives me the impression that someone already made an account. They said unless i pass the Authenticator i cant dispute the inquiries. I just turned XXXX. I dont know what to do. Ive tried to get a social change and apparently my situation isnt serious enough.
