Continental Loans ins XXXX TN, I never missed a payment on my installment loan and always paid through the customer portal. They reported I was over 30 days late for my XXXX payment when I have never been late, when I contacted them and explained the issue to them they claim it was for a late fee that I did not pay, I explained to her when I paid my bill on the online portal I paid the amount it stated I owed and never showed I owed a late fee on top of that they see I made regular payments on time, if this was the case why did they not call me and say you still have a balance or owe a late fee, they were even aware customers were having issues with the customer portal with the correct balance reflecting but still did not honor the error on their end and this late payment is ruining my credit. For a long time customer who always paid on time why would they ruin my credit when the error was on their part, I was advised the issue would be escalated to a supervisor and someone would call be back, I never heard back from anyone and when I called again I was just told the same thing it was escalated to a supervisor to look into the matter but still nothing. I have a record of each payment I made to them which shows I was never late. I am disappointed in how they treat good customers and the lack of accountability on their part, I will probably never do business with them again.
