On XX/XX/XXXX of 2021 i was a victim of identity theft, a person stole my belongings and my identification and wells fargo debit card were in the wallet that was stolen by the thief, i then reported this to the XXXX police department who were very nice and were able to make an arrest. I gathered all the documents to prove wells fargo i was not responsible for the charges made with my debit card. I even have a XXXX police XXXX willing to confirm this information, when i opened the claim with wells fargo, they decided not to listen to me, or even pay attention. I asked for a fax number or physical address to send the documents that would prove my case and they never gave me an address, they gave me a fax number that is not working, and after denying my claim, they decided to close my account, they never sent me a letter explaining why they denied the case, why they closed my account they simply kept my money, we are talking about more than ten thousand dollars. account number : XXXX fraud claim number : XXXX
