I have paid my home mortgage in full, I received a letter saying that it is paid in full, on XX/XX/2021. Later in the month I received a phone call stating I still owed {$150.00}, because I had to stop payment on a check. I asked if the {$150.00} would take care of everything. I was told it would be a XXXX XXXX. Next I received a Partial Claim Agreement to be notarized and returned to New Day, for a Hardship Loan. I called the number XXXX, someone stated I owed {$30.00} fee. I questioned that because I was told, the {$150.00} was all that was outstanding. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but was not allowed to speak to anyone. I called back later in the afternoon, spoke to XXXX XXXX. She said she considered the loan paid off, I had a letter stating that and to disregard the Partial Claim Agreement. After that a XXXX XXXX called about the Partial Claim Agreement, about mistakes that may have been in the agreement, something to do with VA loans. I did not understand what he was talking about or why I received the Partial Claim Agreement, since I considered my loan to be paid in full. I called New Day to follow up with someone, I talked to XXXX XXXX XXXX, she again stated there was a {$30.00} outstanding fee. I would pay the fee if that was the only thing owed. She put me with XXXX XXXX XXXX to pay the {$30.00} fee. I was not able to pay the fee. XXXX XXXX XXXX, New Day, I. XXXX XXXX XXXX, phone number XXXX. He confirmed that I tried to pay the fee of {$30.00}, but was not allowed too.
