I not only dispute the debt validity because the debt originated from internet service I was not able to receive because of a defective device but two different statements clearly show a final balance of {$200.00} - NOT {$520.00}. XXXX turned over my account to Amsher collections & I responded immediately to dispute the legitimacy of the debt & uploaded my dispute to Amshers website. But Amsher Collections submitted my account to the 3 credit reporting agency anyway, for more than twice the amount. I had an " Excellent '' credit score on my credit reports until this debt arising from a dispute over the validity of this debt. It stands to reason that it would be a conflict of Amshers interest to give me a favorable ruling because they get revenue from collecting XXXX unpaid accounts. Amsher then extorts people like me to either pay up or they will hurt my credit. Please help me to get my Excellent credit rating back because the way this matter is currently being handled is tantamount to extortion i.e. whether I actually owe a debt or not is not relevant and if I dont pay them, they will tarnish & keep tarnishing my excellent credit score by making it appear the debt collections is for a valid & ligitimate debt.
