We closed a home loan with Caliber home Loans in XX/XX/XXXX ( first mistake ). On XX/XX/XXXX we get a notice that our ACH has been canceled and in a separate envelope, we had a mortgage statement asking for a payment. I called Caliber ( spent 9 min getting through all their prompts trying to get to a live agent ) and inquired about our loan status and ACH. Our account online shows as active and the next payment is due XX/XX/XXXX ( which has me confused since they just mailed me a statement asking for payment ). Additionally - our online account with Caliber shows no indication the loan has been sold and will still allow extra payments. I was then told ( by the agent ) they are sending me a check ( in about a month ) for our escrow balance and I had to figure out what to do with that money with the new mortgage provider XXXX? I understand loans get sold but we have had no communication related to the sale, our online account with Caliber is still active and allowing payments, no clarity on why escrow was not transferred over and we have no information or communication from this new company.
