On XX/XX/2021 I received aa email from a collection company stating that I owed {$160.00} dollars on my Kohl 's credit card. I had never received a statement from Kohls indicatiing that I owed them. I first used their credit card on XX/XX/XXXX for a pearche of {$140.00}. I made the payment on XX/XX/2021. On XX/XX/2021 I purchased {$37.00} for slipperes.However, they had charged me late fees and interest amounting to a balance of {$88.00}. Again not receiving any statements they kept adding late fees and interest to the balance. When I received the email from the collection agency, XXXX XXXX,, the balance was now {$160.00}. I called them the same day and asked what this was all about, they told me about the Kohls credit card amount. I argued for along time and they brought the amount down to {$51.00} which I paid at that time. Issue-My credit scores have dropped considerably due to this being on my credit report. I feel this is wrong and would like to have it be removed from my report.
