I recently applied for a loan and the amount I applied for was reduced due to Suntrust Mortgage not updating my mortgage to closed and transferred to XXXX. Therefore, it appears that I had two mortgages instead of one. I contacted Suntrust mortgage today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and was advised I had to wait for 30 days for the dispute process to be completed. I advised my information could be updated via XXXX with less time ( 72 hours ). The mortgage customer service agent ( XXXX ) and her manager ( XXXX ) reached out to the Credit Manager who denied this was possible and they do not have access to XXXX. I would expect small establishments not to have the service due to expense not a large corporations such as Suntrust/Truist . I felt it was dishonest for them to deny their access to this system and their unwillingness to escalate the issue since it was their negligence that impacted my loan negatively. My mortgage has been with XXXX bank since XX/XX/XXXX. I think that is more than enough time for a company to update a tradeline. If the a Credit Manager is not aware of XXXX and how it works that also presents a concern.
