A derogatory mark has been made on my credit score due to a account being sent to Collections ( listed below ) MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT Opened XXXX This is from someone fraudulently opening a credit card to purchase plus size clothing online. The credit card is called ( XXXX XXXX ) The only time I have opened a credit card was at XXXX XXXX ( clothing store ). I believe there was a data breach in their system and my information was stolen. I have refused to pay off the XXXX XXXX account because it is a fraud charge by someone else. It has now been on my credit for 1 yr 11 Mos and negatively impacting my credit score. I have disputed this account with XXXX XXXX in the past claiming it was fraudulent, but no action has been taken.
