After being on the phone with an agent that could not verify my information this account was almost 10 years old and they still were reporting it to my credit which was a violation of my consumer laws which after 7 years an account should not be still on my credit report. I paid the amount that the agent agreed and In writing, she agreed the account would be removed from my credit report not reported as closed this was a violation of the written agreement that me and the agent if this company both agreed to and now I will be escalating this problem to higher authorities for this matter.
