In XX/XX/2020, I was scheduled for several medical appointments with various providers by XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) on behalf of the Veteran 's Administration ( VA ) for Compensation and Pension ( C & P ) exams to determine the validity of my XXXX claim with the VAXXXX One of these appointments was for x-rays at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Virginia XXXX XXXX, who scheduled the exams, assured me that all appointment costs were covered, and they even reimbursed me for mileage to and from each appointment. When I attended the appointment, after the x-rays were completed, I talked to a receptionist at the front desk and told her that XXXX and the VA cover the appointment. Several weeks later I received a bill for this appointment totalling {$140.00}. At this time, I called the medical center directly and again told them to direct this bill towards XXXX. I then called XXXX directly and attempted to have them reach out to the medical office to take care of this debt. I received several more bills for this debt, and each time tried to get the medical center and XXXX to take care of it. It is now on my credit report as in collections, and I have disputed it to no avail with all three credit bureaus.
