I am due to make the final payment on my car loan, with Credit Acceptance, on XX/XX/XXXX. According to their web site my final balance is {$440.00}. A few weeks ago I called them to verify the balance on my loan. The agent would not give me the information I requested. She kept dancing around the issue and saying she couldn't give me an amount until XX/XX/XXXX, when my payment was due. I made the XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX. She just wanted to talk about a past due payment they say I owe. In XX/XX/XXXX they added {$620.00} to my account from a repossession in XXXX. I retrieved the car. I have made a total of {$740.00} extra on my payments since XXXX, XXXX. I should not owe {$120.00} past due. I haven't missed a payment since XXXX. They have continually given me problems when I call and won't answer my questions. In XXXX the site listed {$190.00} past due. Today it was {$320.00}. It changes daily going up and down. I have asked if that is part of my balance or extra. They won't answer my direct question. I live on Social Security and need the information I asked for so I can make my final payment on XX/XX/XXXX. They take advantage of people who have financial problems and during the past two years, with COVID, they won't help me. I have paid 29 % interest for 65 months. XXXX is the end of my contract. Please help me.
