Discover credit card offered me a 0.0 % balance transfer or 12months, I transferred {$2000.00} and paid {$60.00} in transfer fee XX/XX/2021. Discover is now asking me to pay in full in a month, by XX/XX/XXXX or they will apply interest charge of 22.99 %. I chatted with two different reps. and they both telling me the same thing. I paid the {$60.00} transfer fee thinking I have 12months to pay off my {$2000.00} little by little with 0.0 % interest as advertised instead, Discover is demanding me to pay the {$2000.00} within a month while they keep the {$60.00} fee I gave them. Why can't i pay just the new purchases portion in full and keep the {$2000.00} balance transfer promo and not have to pay interest?
