I filed an online dispute and I also wrote a dispute letter to all three credit bureaus, Experian, XXXX, and XXXX, with partial correction. My mortgage account has been paid in full since XX/XX/2021, when we sold our home. We are currently trying to buy our forever home, but until this mortgage account is corrected we can not get pre-approved for a home loan. At first the account was still open, they have since reported it " closed, paid in full ''. The other issue is that they are reporting a 30 day late payment for XX/XX/2021, but under the report it lists the payment history and states XXXX 's payment was on time with a payment made XX/XX/2021. That payment is being reported as XXXX 's payment, when we did not make a payment for XXXX, because we were in the process of closing on the home we were selling. So XXXX 's payment was made XX/XX/2021 and was not 30 days late. All 3 credit bureaus changed the account status to " closed paid in full '', but did not correct the late payment error.
