I have been a trusted member with capital one since XXXX. I have always made payments on time and most of the time I have paid in full. I requested an increase in XX/XX/XXXX and did not receive a response as to why my limit has not been increased. Upon submitting my request to increase I explained that I wound be making a major purchase in the future as well as using the card for travel. They have not provided me with a reason why via mail. The increase was never given and has not been reviewed. Today I am traveling and went to rent a vehicle and was turned down because my limit was not enough to be able to rent the vehicle. After being embarrassed I called to ask for a XXXXXXXX XXXX increase to cover the cost and was told there was nothing that could be done on their end. I have been with capital one as a customer since XXXX which is a considerable amount of time with on time payments and an XXXX score with very low debt to income I believe capital one is being bias towards me. I am submitting the complaint and would like an explanation from them regarding this unjust treatment.
