on XX/XX/2021 I checked my EQUIFAX credit file via XXXX due to a fraudulent account being opened in my name through information provided by their service. A hard inquiry shows on XX/XX/2021 from XXXX XXXX that was used to open and account I want removed. the Equifax link to file a dispute ai.equifax.com does not work, I attempted to go to my account at EQUIFAX.com it shows my account is locked, it provided the phone number XXXX to contact customer care M-F XXXX est. this number does not work and has alternating errors when dialed. there evidently is no way to contact EQUIFAX at this time. All my other credit files are safely frozen and have been for 2 years.
