Consumer Narrative
I advised Discover card that I was in a XXXX XXXX and couldn't make payments. I provided the rep my forwarding address. There was some fraud charges on the card and the fraud department refused to take my report. After they charged off the card I asked for a settlement. I wasn't working then and my only income is social security XXXX. At the time they want me to pay XXXX. I can only pay XXXX in total with payment arrangements. Also, I want to know the status of the account, when it was charged off and if it's time barred?
