I have tried to work with Acura/Honda Financial Services many times on my issue. I have called multiple times and went into the dealership multiple times as well. My issue is they informed me when I went to buy the car they do not accept third party checks ie I could not use my XXXX XXXX XXXX, but had to either finance through Acura or a local credit union they had partnered with. My credit is XXXX and XXXX offers rates at 2.9 %, while Acura 's and the local credit union 's rates fluctuate between 4.5-6.8 %. This is insane and I do not understand how they can just change the rules and say they will not accept third-party checks!? This isn't stated in their leases. Why can't we finance through more beneficial means? Why/how can they force people buying their vehicle returns to use their XXXX banks? THIS WAS NEVER MENTIONED DURING THE LEASE PROCESS AND THEY SAID IT WAS A NEW POLICY. How can they just make up a policy and ban other banks, with better terms, from financing these vehicles? I am still the one buying it via a loan from a bank with better terms. This is DISHONEST and Acura/Honda Financial Services should be ashamed of themselves!
