I purchased a used XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from a 3rd party in XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX for {$260000.00}. The motorhome was titled and registered in XXXX XXXX. I paid {$130000.00} in cash and a loan from Bank of the West for {$130000.00}. Included in the loan fees were the XXXX State title and Registration fees of {$470.00} ( see attached LoanDisclosureStatement ). XXXX is where I reside. Bank of the West was supposed to take care of the XXXX title and registration. On XX/XX/XXXX ( see attached XXXXXXXX ) I received the letter dated XXXX from the XXXX DMV stating the date on the Title XXXX submitted to them by Bank of the West does not match the date on the XXXX XXXX title in the National Database of XX/XX/XXXX for this motorhome. The letter also states a " blank '' check was included which they can not accept and lists the required title and registration fees. It says if there is no response within 30 days the transaction may be returned, put on hold, or cancelled. Between XX/XX/XXXX, the day I received the letter, and XX/XX/XXXX, I called Bank of the West 5 or 6 times and each time was assured this issue would be expeditated and I would receive a response from them. The 6th call I requested to speak with a supervisor. That also got me nowhere. On XX/XX/XXXX I filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) Complaint : XXXX. They too have hit a dead end. After numerous inquiries and numerous replies to/from Bank of the West by the XXXX, Bank of the Wests response was always the same, they needed more time to investigate and expect a response in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks they responded they needed another 2 weeks. This has continued since I filed the complaint. I have continued to call Bank of the West and each time assured this would be escalated. I have also spoken with the XXXX DMV and the XXXX XXXX DMV thinking maybe I could resolve it but XXXX XXXX DMV will not give me the title because I am not the registered owner. That seems ironic, I paid {$130000.00} cash, have been making {$980.00} monthly payments for the past 10 months totaling {$9800.00} and insurance for a vehicle that I cant drive! I have no title, no registration and no license plates and if there was a serious problem its registered and titled to someone else! I spoke with the XXXX DMV earlier this week and was told they have heard nothing from Bank of the West since they sent the XXXXXXXX letter dated XXXX. Bank of the West has committed fraud. They misrepresented the RV loan and process. I was told the registration/title process would be done in 5 to 7 days. They have my money and I have a vehicle I cant drive. I have paid over {$5000.00} in interest and insured a vehicle that sits in my driveway.
