I am trying to refinance my loan with XXXX XXXX in XXXX. I was given a 5 % rate. When I speak to Exeter Finance about transferring the title from a XXXX XXXX to a XXXX XXXX they tell me to call the DMV and fill out a state transfer form. XXXX does not have any such thing, nor does XXXX They need the lender to assist with requesting from XXXX a XXXX title. The car is registered in XXXX. It was purchased in XXXX. I am trying to refinance with a local credit union. I am paying 18 % with Exeter. Exeter needs to request from XXXX a new title, and the car has to be titled in XXXX to get a payoff of {$18000.00}. I have 60 days and counting to do this or I loose my refinance on my XXXX XXXX. I am asking Exeter to request from XXXX a new title, I have tried with Exeter for a week, no one seems to comprehend this basic task. I have spoken to the XXXX DMV. Without the title, this can not be done, the refinance I need to lessen my payments. I can not do this alone without the lenders approval in writing, and the {$74.00} paid by the lender.
