Credit report shows a collection with a " XXXX XXXX '' ( a collections company? ) allegedly related to an account with " XXXX XXXX ''. If that was a " store account '', then it is bogus as we have only opened one store accounts in the last 10-20 years ( XXXX, an account used once then closed in good standing, about 2016 ). When I disputed this entry on the report, Experian almost immediately declared it " Verified ''. I have no idea what procedure they used to verify, maybe just asked the alleged creditor? It is bogus and I want it off.
