On XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to pay off the balance of a loan in exchange for the contract and remaining balance of the loan. I requested this information by XX/XX/XXXX. I did not receive a response. I sent another letter on XX/XX/XXXX extending the offer to XX/XX/XXXX. My letter was still ignored, which translates to the company refusing payment. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent letters to XXXX, XXXX, and Experian informing the reporting agencies of the past mistakes of the company such as misreporting, and repossession of my vehicle. XXXX XXXX XXXX is now reporting a delinquency to the credit reporting agencies. I sent the credit reporting agencies copies of the letters and certified mail receipts to investigate. I was informed by the Experian dispute representative that they sent over the documents to XXXX, opened an investigation on XX/XX/XXXX, and closed it on XX/XX/XXXX because XXXX verified the information they were reporting was correct. I was also told by the Experian dispute representative that they DO NOT have to obtain proof from the furnisher regarding any item that is disputed by the consumer, as that IS NOT their job. XXXX XXXX XXXX verified the information to be correct without providing any proof adverse to the documents I sent in for the item to be removed from my account.
