Do to Covid both my wife and I were furloughed from our jobs at the same time. My wife returned 8 months later but my position was lost. We reached out to our mortgage company and were put on a forbodence plan. Last month a realtor stoped by my home and wanted to know if I wanted to sell my house because it was on the foreclosure sale list. That was on XXXX. That is how I found out that I was in foreclosure, I didnt get notified by the bank or the attorney until days later. And that was not even done by certified mail it was just by regular mail. I contacted midland mortgage on XXXX I was told that there were a few motifacation programs that I may qualify for I started the process that day on the phone with XXXX badge number XXXX. I was told that all foreclosure procedures would be stopped during the review process. He said that I would get a conformation letter stating that which I did receive. As of today my home is still on the auction list for XX/XX/2022. At this point I am back to work and am able to make payments as per my mortgage agreement. I explained that to my mortgage company and even offered to start paying my payment at which point I was told not to do that at this time.
