I recently reviewed a copy of my TransUnion credit report, and I noticed some late payments posted on my credit report : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX ; XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX ; XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX. TransUnion is in clear violation of the law ; 15 USC 1681b- Permissible purpose of consumer reports. I did not give TransUnion written permission to furnish this account on my credit report. TransUnion is also in violation of 15 USC 1681 ( 2 ) ( a ) ( i ) Exclusions from a consumer credit report. Late payments must be excluded from a credit report. Before this account was furnished to my consumer report, an investigation should have been done which wouldve shown that these late payments should have never been reflected to my consumer report, which is identity theft. TransUnion has received all documents and supporting evidence of this dispute through the mail on XX/XX/XXXX.
