According to XXXX, I have a derogatory collection account of {$290.00} belonging to RS Clark and Associates with the original creditor being XXXX XXXX XXXX. The account was opened on XX/XX/XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX, I have paid my debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX, but on XX/XX/XXXX, RS Clark and Associates was still reporting a derogatory, unpaid collection account. I disputed the account with XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX, they reported back that the account remains. Additionally, I originally had no knowledge about this collection account. It was not until I opened my XXXX account on XX/XX/XXXX that I found out about this debt. I was not able to pay it off after finding out about it since RS Clark & Associates failed to send me any bills in the mail over the course of last two years. Without XXXX, I would have never known about this debt. Because of that, I went to the original creditor 's office and paid there. This should not be a derogatory account in my credit reports.
