Consumer Narrative

I was accepted into the XXXX XXXX XXXX Loan Repayment Program, through the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. In exchange for working five years full time ( as a XXXX XXXX XXXX ) at an approved facility providing XXXX XXXX XXXX in a shortage area, my existing student loan would be repaid each year until completely repaid by the Higher Education Coordinating Board. I have fulfilled the requirements by working full-time in my position as an XXXX However, there is still {$8000.00} + remaining on the loan balance because the Higher Education Coordinating Board had poor accounting practices, and accepted new applicants yearly without setting aside funds to adequately repay loans for applicants already in their program. The Higher Education Coordinating Board tried to coerce me into signing an additional contract with the Federal Government for loan repayment, but it was not an appropriate option as there were significant additional penalties and commitments attached. I have tried repeatedly to resolve this issue with The Higher Education Coordinating Board, as I am XXXX years old, have been through XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, but continued to work full time for five years to honor my commitment. The response of the Higher Ed Coordinating Board is indicative of Fraud on their part. Please help me to resolve this issue, as it is causing emotional distress.
