I only ordered one gift card at {$50.00} value from Vanilla Visa gift cards ( vanillagift.com ) but when I got my confirmation order emailed to me, the confirmation said I was being charged for double my order. I KNOW that I reviewed my order prior to checking out online. I called the very minute, 3:55 PM on XX/XX/2021 I received the fraudulent confirmation order of {$100.00} and said that I had only intended to buy one card and I wanted them to cancel my order OR change it so that only one gift card was sent as a gift to the address I enclosed. On their website it says that they can amend orders if you call immediately as they like to be expedient in getting orders out. After being on hold for an HOUR I was told by a customer service representative that there was nothing I could do and that I would be charged XXXX dollars instead of XXXX. I had to report them as fraud to my credit card company so that the charge would not be applied to me. This was an expense for work and I fear I won't be reimbursed for this fraud. Since the incident, I have found that Vanilla Gift is well known for scamming customers in this way, but I wish I'd known that earlier as they seemed a reputable website.
