I have had occasional suspect purchases over the years that have been made electronically through my checking account. The amounts never exceeded more than $ 500- {$1000.00} and were usually flagged by the bank and the money was credited back to me. However, recently I decided to switch banks and when I went to open an account I was flagged by Early Warning Services , Inc. for " account abuse, '' reported by XXXX XXXX, a bank I have never used before. Upon further investigation and after receiving the Early Warning Services report I saw numerous occasions where my social security number had been used to open accounts using banks I have never used before. My name was correct, my social security number was correct, however most other information such as Email address, physical address, Driver 's License information, was inaccurate. In all cases the accounts were open for up to a couple years but had been closed. There were about 4 or 5 such instances. I have filed a police report and am waiting for the detective to complete it. In the mean time he has issued me a Police blotter. I can provide whatever documentation you would like to see.
