On XX/XX/21, I applied and was approved for a SoFi personal loan. I used a referral link that gives me a {$310.00} sign up bonus. However, it's been almost 6 weeks and I still didn't get the bonus. I reached out to SoFi customer service via chat to inquire about the bonus. I was told that because I don't have a money market account with them, i'll have to add an external checking account to get the bonus deposited to, which I did. Few days later, I chatted a gain to see if theres any updates, I was asked again about the money market account, I repeated the previous conversation again, opening and/or having a money market account is NOT a requirement to get the personal loan bonus. The agent said that she marked the ticket with that information and that I've already added an external checking account as instructed. I just chatted again today with SoFi and it's the same conversation all over again. Same thing for the person who referred me, she was told to add an external checking account, which she did, and still didn't receive here referral bonus of {$300.00}.
