In late XX/XX/2021, I was notified that I had a delinquency on my credit, and my credit score dropped XXXX points. After reviewing my lines of credit, I saw that there was a Hyundai line of credit showing the delinquency. The balance of the line of credit was {$12000.00} I contacted Hyundai Motor Finance to discover that there was a Lease on in my name. I was trying to inform them that this was a fraudulent account, and that I knew the person that signed this lease fraudulently, but was receiving no help from them. I was getting cycled around through their phone lines when finally I got redirected to the Finance Department for a third time. This time though, I requested a copy of the Motor Vehicle Lease Agreement so that I could see the signatures on the paperwork. After a couple of days I received it. After reviewing the paperwork, I discovered that the signature on it was in fact forged. The vehicle was leased in Arizona. I currently reside in Washington state and have not been to or visited Arizona. I called the person that forged my signature, who currently resides in Arizona, and she eventually admitted to commiting the forgery/identify theft to me over the phone. I continued to try and contact Hyundai, after now knowing for a fact what happened. But I was harassed by them. They did not listen to my concerns, and was insinuating that I was experiencing " buyers remorse. '' I continued to adamantly state that I did not sign or consent to this sale. I have been trying to work with the Hyundai Motor Finance Director, trying to get information on their investigation, while also providing them copies of the police report I filed. Also trying to figure out how they can proceed with repossessing the vehicle from the perpetrator since she is still in possession of it, but now they are ignoring my attempts to contact them.
